About Brett Geddes
SE Victoria Estuaries Specialist
Brett Geddes was born in April 1964 - making him currently about 57 years young. He lives in the SE Victorian town of Sale on the shores of the Gippsland Lakes. For about 10 fanatical years Brett was obsessed with fly fishing for trout before discovering the joys of bream and estuary perch lure fishing in 1998 - a pursuit he remains hopelessly addicted to, although he now adds flathead, whiting, bass and even squid to that list. Brett has always fished about 120 days a year so has often been on the brink of divorce. Being now sem-retired his clients all know that he's unfit for work on calm sunny days! Brett describes his fishing and lifestyle goals thus: "Playing one of 5 guitars, growing veggies, working the stock market, sampling the boom in new delicious craft beers, to wear out my 4th Hobie kayak, catch a murray cod, stay married, land a kingfish (having dropped the first four), stop my fat gut from growing exponentially and break my PB estuary perch mark of 55.5cm, hopefully hit 60cm".
